Loren Tarquinio is a director and writer with over a decade of experience specializing in television comedy, both scripted and non-scripted. He has done a lot of short form projects both as a writer and director including on-air promos, commercial campaigns, branded content, concept development, script writing and pitching.
Some of his major projects have included writing several cross branding campaigns for Jimmy Kimmel Live on ABC working with several celebrities including Sofia Vergara, the show’s own “Guillermo” and Jimmy Kimmel himself.
Other projects have included writing on “Free Radio”, a largely improvised comedy show that chronicled the dysfunctional mayhem at radio station KBOM which aired on Vh1 and Comedy Central.
He has been the creative director on projects from the initial idea all the way up to the finished edited product.
Loren has also worked as a freelance copywriter for spots and programs on Fox Sports, FX, VH1, GSN, SpikeTV, FuelTV, and SPEED.
He won an Emmy Award for his work on the “It’s Good To Have A Ring” campaign for The NFL on Fox in 2011 as well as a ProMax BDA North American Design Award for writing a Foxsports.com branding spot.
He loves to be creative and be collaborative. He believes it's fun to create something that inspires somebody or simply just makes them laugh. That's the most fulfilling thing for him at the end of the day.
